School holidays have finally come! I feel there are a lot of things on my to do list so it will be nice to spend this break at home.
I have a goal this break, recently I’ve been acquiring a few new accessories for my Nikon V3 camera. I bought a new lens, battery, flash and GPS Adapter for it. Continue reading “School Holidays Time”→
It’s funny, I was watching the release of the new fandangled iPhone X and Apple Watch 3 along with everything else. I thought for a minute, well I wouldn’t mind the watch, it has some pretty cool features. In that, it can receive calls without needing to take my phone. I could now leave my phone and wallet at home, welcome to the future! Continue reading “new devices”→
Winter is coming has come! Normally we’ll head to Mt Donna Buang, but this time we want to take Poppy (our Pug). So after a bit of googling, I discovered Mount Maraget (half way between Marysville & Buxton (maps link), this hidden gem is amazing.
Another weekend and another trip, though this one was for longer than a weekend!
We went to Perth for 11 days, 4 of which we spent down south in the Margaret River region. Margaret river is one of my most favourite places there are, to me it’s the perfect mix of beach, forest & fun. There are so many things to do, see and eat regardless of your interests and budgets.
What better thing to do on a long weekend than a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. It was nice to be able to get away for a small break and see some new scenery.
We left Melbourne after work and proceeded towards Horsham, which was to be our destination for the night. The following morning we left bright and early in the fog (that reminded me of silent hill) with our destination as Hahndorf for lunch.
Today I had the need to just go and do a bit of a weights session instead of my normal Crossfit Classes, so I went to Iron Addicts in Ringwood. All I can say is the plates are pretty cool! Captain America plates….
Sidenote: Pretty cool gym, and it was a good workout!
Melbourne was starting to get a little bit chilly, so why not have a trip up to the lovely Gold Coast, QLD! Ash & I went up for a few days for a bit of getaway and did some exploring along the way. Continue reading “Gold Coast & Byron”→
We found an amazing new place to take Poppy for a walk today. I was looking for somewhere closeby (it’s been a weekend full of driving). Fortunately I found Warrandyte River reserve and it’s only 10 minutes from home!
